Doodle-A-Day, June 2009

MAN So *sfemonster started this thing called Doodle A Day where you draw and post something EVERY DANG OL' DAY. Normally this would be a CINCH for me because I used to doodle like a fiend each every day, but lately I have not had a lot of time to doodle (mostly I just do finished pieces like comic pages) and I have gotten all out of the practice. So I have decided to totally rip off the idea AND DO IT MYSELF. The upside is that I am going to be making a bunch of public Drunken Satyr Entries (my sketchjournal), which I normally never do, so if you want to go get some inside scoop to Skin Deep, I would suggest paying attention to Doodle A Day from me.

I stumbled upon your artwork on a random Google search and really dug your creature sketches on your Flickr page. From there I found Skin Deep and tumbled into the wonderful fantasy world you created. Thanks for the awesome!

Great Googly Moogly, I am in love. O_O I just found out about you and your comic tonight, and I wanna say I've just become a huge fan. Your art is beautiful, the facial expressions and poses are perfect, characters are great, and best of all, THERE'S FECKING MONSTERS EVERYWHERE. And it's original. I've just flitted through the entire galdang thing, and I'm supremely content with the world now. At least one, if not more of your books will be mine. Ho yuss.
